Do you deliver mini excavators to Brisbane?
Yes. Rippa Australia's warehouse is at Currumbin Waters on the Gold Coast, about an hour from the Brisbane CBD. Machines are delivered by tilt tray or truck to Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Moreton Bay and Redland, and you are welcome to collect with your own trailer.
Can I see the machines before I buy?
Yes. The Currumbin Waters warehouse is open by appointment; call 1300 263 551 to arrange a time. Most Brisbane buyers visit on a Saturday morning.
Which Rippa excavator suits a typical Brisbane block?
For a suburban block the R15 or R18 PRO is the usual choice: enough weight for Brisbane clay, still narrow enough for most side access, and towable behind a dual-cab ute. On acreage in Logan, Ipswich or Moreton Bay the R22 PRO is the workhorse.
Do I need a licence to operate a mini excavator in Queensland?
Not on your own property. On construction sites you need a general construction induction (white card) and the site will usually want evidence of competency. Talk to your site manager before turning up with a machine.
